How it works
Start with your GPX. Set the event name, time limit and minimum speed, then Load route (GPX). The track becomes the route and elevation profile; any waypoints named like "start", "finish", "CP", "control", "checkpoint" or "resupply" are turned into controls automatically. No waypoints means you just get start and finish, and you add the rest yourself.
Controls (navy) and resupply (blue) come from the GPX waypoints. Stops (orange) are yours: open the map and search for petrol, food, ATMs and more near the route, or paste a Google Maps link or coordinates and it snaps to the route, finds the km, and slots it in. A plain name is looked up, or set the km by hand.
Cut-off and margin show on the controls plus start and finish, using the minimum-speed and time-limit you set (defaults 15 km/h and 40:00, which suit ACP brevets up to 600 km). Resupply and personal stops still cost time but are not timed controls.
Edit start day and time, each leg's speed, and the rest at each stop; everything recomputes. Turn on weather to pull a free forecast for each stop at its estimated arrival time.
Save your work:Save plan (.json) downloads a file that holds the whole plan, route included, to reload later or share, and Route GPX writes the track plus your stops as named waypoints for your GPS or RideWithGPS. The PDF, top tube strip and Excel exports are also in the Export menu.
